Hi, I’m Kelsey the curator of this little space. Pardon My French started out as a way to connect with family when we first moved to Alaska. It was a central place that friends and family could keep up with our adventures in the last frontier, instead of me calling them at all hours of the morning, because I could never seem to get the whole-time change thing down.
Quickly this space became so much more, as I started connecting with moms about the craziness of having four kids in five years.
I feel like I fell in love with this blog even more when I started sharing my personal style. It isn’t for everyone, and I get that. But after realizing that there is no set uniform for a stay at home mom, and rediscovering myself after being pregnant and covered in breast milk, I wanted Pardon My French to be an inspiration destination for the modern mom.
We have since moved from Alaska and are getting settled in Savannah! Upon moving here, I was quickly diagnosed with breast cancer. I debated on whether or not I wanted to share this part of my life, but it felt disingenuous not to. My life hasn’t stopped because I have cancer, there may just be a little less hair tutorials around these parts.
So, I am glad you found your way here and I hope you’ll stay for a light-hearted take on motherhood, beauty, and attainable fashion!
