What a weekend!! I will post more about it tomorrow, but I learned something about kids parties. Not only should you just reserve a party location that is absolutely tiring for your children, you should also reserve transportation for all adults present so they can drink away the insanity that are kids parties. Now, Ace turning six this is our first actual party party for him. Chris and I are of the antisocial variety when it comes to parental relationships. I know I know, go ahead and judge. But, we aren’t huge on the birthday thing. We like to keep it small and to the point. Store bought decorations, cake, presents, I love you’s, and fun. No over the top anything.
But that all kind of changes when your kid goes to school and gets invited to other peoples birthday parties. Now they want one of their own, which we were totally fine with. So he invited some of his friends, we had a great time, and now I am exhausted.
I actually just want to curl up in this cashmere sweater, and watch the kids entertain themselves with Ace’s toy collection from the weekend. Shhhh….don’t tell him!
How was your weekend?
